IF-klubben har fått følgende invitasjon Nederlandske Marieholmforening – Jubileumssommerarrangement, 2.–5. juli 2026
I 2026 feirer Nederlandske Marieholmforening sitt 25-årsjubileum. En milepæl de er stolte av, og en vi naturligvis ikke ønsker å la gå ubemerket hen. Dette spesielle jubileet danner kjernen i deres årlige sommerarrangement, som i år finner sted fra torsdag 2. juli til søndag 5. juli i Harderwijk, Nederland.
Ønsker du å delta på vegne av Norge er det vanlig at arrangøren hjelper gjestere med å låne båt og ellers andre praktiske ting. Kontakt detaljer finnes nederst i teksten – hyggelig om noen har lyst til å dra.
We are guests of sailing club Flevo (https://wvflevo.nl/) and marina De Knar — a beautiful and welcoming venue on the Wolderwijd in the centre of the Netherlands. With an atmospheric clubhouse, excellent facilities, magnificent views over the water, and a cosy historic old town within walking distance, this is the ideal place for a weekend full of sailing, meeting new people, and socialising. 35 Boats are already registered!
We warmly welcome international participants to join the races, touring activities, and celebrations. We reserve spots for international competitive sailors and have a boat available for a competitive team. Recreational sailors are also very welcome.
The Program
We have put together a varied program that accommodates competitive sailors, recreational sailors, and members who prefer to enjoy themselves ashore or relax on the water.
Thursday, July 2
We welcome the first participants to the harbour starting at 16:00. Thursday evening has an informal character. Participants may optionally have dinner in the clubhouse, where a simple menu will be available. Registration opens at 19:30. For those looking for some extra fun, we are organizing a pub quiz at 20:30 — a great way to break the ice and get into the mood (please register in advance).
Friday, July 3
The first official day begins with a joint breakfast at 08:00, followed by the Skippers’ Meeting at 09:00. After that, we head out onto the water. Participants are divided into different groups:
- Racing sailors and cruising sailors will compete, with separate starts for each group.
- Other participants may choose an alternative program on and around the water.
The prize-giving ceremony for the day’s winners takes place in the late afternoon, followed by drinks.
Saturday, July 4
The day starts with a joint breakfast at 08:00, followed by the Skippers’ Meeting at 09:00.
On Saturday, we offer two separate programs:
- Sprint races for the racing sailors — exciting, intense, and fun to watch.
- A recreational program for cruising sailors and other participants.
The latter program includes, among other activities, a scavenger hunt and the opportunity to sail on a historic ‘botter’, a historic fishing vessel of the former Zuiderzee. Around noon, all racing sailors, cruising sailors, and passengers will gather on an island for a convivial eel tasting session. Afterwards, participants may swap crews and learn from each other’s boats while sailing back to the harbour.
The highlight of Saturday evening will be a festive dinner with live music and a wonderful atmosphere.
Sunday, July 5
The final day once again begins with a joint breakfast and Skippers’ Meeting. Afterwards, we head out onto the water for a long-distance race, open to both racing and cruising sailors. Participants without racing experience may join a touring trip along the same route.
Around 13:30 to 14:00, we will conclude the event together with the prize-giving ceremony.
